Years ago, Katherine finally got away… from her home, her small Texas town, and, most importantly, her alcoholic mother. It is eighteen silent years later when Katherine, now 40, returns to Texas hoping to make amends, only to discover that her mother, Miriam, is dying of breast cancer. Stepping into her childhood home, Katherine is immediately overwhelmed by the familiar, almost as if the house itself breathes with remembrance. These haunting impressions force Katherine to finally confront one looming decision - whether or not to allow these painful memories to continue to hold her back or to finally press her forward - before Miriam draws her last breath.
